And when I say you it's the collective 'YOU' that consists of the majority of the American people!
You know the type...The people who can tell you the ins and the outs of some Kardashian family dust-up but who have absolutely no idea about anything to do with the politicians that they blindly vote for.
That is of course unless the Democrat Party lapdog, the mainstream media, tells them what to think.
And why do these politicians, primarily the ones on the Left, think that they can literally get away with whatever they want?
They live the experience each and every day!
For instance when the name Reverend Jeremiah Wright is mentioned in the context of our two-term President Obama you will typically draw a blank stare.
Hillary email scandal? The sheeple can tell you that it's all about a GOP conspiracy and that there is no news here. Keep walking!
Iran nuclear deal? I think that Ben Rhodes actually said it best when he described the mainstream media in the following way...“They literally know nothing. The average reporter we talk to is 27 years old, and their only reporting experience consists of being around political campaigns.”
Obamacare? Nancy Pelosi let the cat out of the bag on that one when she famously said "we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of the controversy.” She also reiterated that it will be 'affordable, affordable, affordable' and a large percentage of the American people bought that hook line and sinker!
Lois Lerner and the IRS? A far-right witch hunt the masses were told and of course the story went away!
The press wants access to the White House and unless they toe the party line they risk losing it. The result?
A world made even less safe by a bogus nuclear deal with Iran that serves the President's desire for a legacy at the expense of humanity, Obamacare that is imploding as most knew that it would and a leading candidate for the Democrat Party presidential nomination, Hillary Clinton, who stands and excellent chance of being indicted!
Among everything else that has taken place.
But, in the end, few seem to care very much about any of it.
Democrat Congressman X
Which brings us to a book due to be released in about two weeks that was written anonymously by a Democrat Congressman (either currently serving or having recently served) who tells some of the secrets about what Congress does and what it thinks about you, the voter.
Why was it written anonymously? I suppose because whoever wrote it doesn't want to risk losing any of what it is he speaks about.
Cowardice? Disingenuous? You tell me!
My guess however is that most Americans will never hear about this book or anything in it because news about it will likely be suppressed by the mainstream media!
These are some of the key points made that really come as no great surprise to anyone watching...
But then we have those darn American sheeple who seemingly could care less.
'The Confessions of Congressman X'
-“Most of my colleagues are dishonest career politicians who revel in the power and special-interest money that’s lavished upon them.”
-“My main job is to keep my job, to get reelected. It takes precedence over everything.”
-“I contradict myself all the time, but few people notice. One minute I rail against excessive spending and ballooning debt. The next minute I’m demanding more spending on education, health care, unemployment benefits, conservation projects, yadda, yadda, yadda.”
-"“Like most of my colleagues, I promise my constituents a lot of stuff I can never deliver”
-“Fundraising is so time consuming I seldom read any bills I vote on. Like many of my colleagues, I don’t know how the legislation will be implemented, or what it’ll cost.”
-“Voters are incredibly ignorant and know little about our form of government and how it works.”
-“It’s far easier than you think to manipulate a nation of naive, self-absorbed sheep who crave instant gratification.”
-“It’s about getting credit now, lookin’ good for the upcoming election.”
-“We spend money we don’t have and blithely mortgage the future with a wink and a nod. Screw the next generation.”
