Political Nonsense Speak!

While I am not necessarily a Donald Trump supporter, the statement Ted Cruz made after the South Carolina primary made absolutely no sense!

No sense if the intention of Ted Cruz was to point out weakness in the Trump campaign and strength within his own.

He said that while Trump has a high floor in terms of his support he also has a low ceiling because by winning 32% of the vote in South Carolina it means that 68% of the Republican Party don't support him.

But, if that is the case, then isn't it also true that Ted Cruz by winning only 22% of the South Carolina vote is himself considered unfavorable by 78% of the Republican Party?
