Obama's next moves against Putin! (Poster)

Putin really went and did it now! He made Obama mad and you don't want to see Obama when he's mad!

Because when the President gets really mad the worthless rhetoric (ничего не стоит риторика) literally overflows and spews out of every crevice of his empty suit (пустой костюм)!

And, since Putin seems to be completely undeterred in Ukraine, get your boots and raincoats on!

$100MM Manhattan apartments: When does the bubble burst?

If you have any interest in a NYC apartment with its own pool, huge patio and unobstructed view of the Hudson River then this one might be just what the doctor ordered.

Of course if you have to ask what the monthly maintenance is, then you obviously can't afford it.

And if, when the NYC bubble ultimately bursts a $30MM, $40MM or greater loss will be too much for you to handle then you might want to stay away!

IRS: Dependents vs Dependence! (Humor)

I just received an audit on my tax return for 2013 back from the IRS. It puzzles me!!!

They are questioning how many dependents I claimed.

I guess it was because of my response to the question: "List all dependents?"

I replied: 12 million illegal immigrants;
                - 3 million crack heads;
                - 42 million unemployed people on food stamps,
                - 2 million people in over 243 prisons;
                - Half of Mexico ;
                - 535 persons in the U.S. House and Senate."
         and - 1 useless President.

Evidently, this was NOT an acceptable answer.

Donetsk, Ukraine: No Holocaust Remembrance Day there!

In Ukraine the world faces the challenge of dealing with another rock and a hard place scenario, somewhat similar to the one that Barack Obama blew in Syria where the rebels were no better than the government!

As Holocaust Remembrance Day is observed around the world today, Ukraine needs to be remembered as one of the most deadly places during the Holocaust with close to 1,000,000 Jews put to death there.

It needs to be remembered as well because it was only 10 days ago that the world was sadly reminded of this country's dark history when a leaflet was distributed demanding that Jews over the age of 16 register and document their possessions or face deportation.

Never Again? Not exactly true in Ukraine where it seems that the more things change the more that they stay the same!

What is this? A leaflet dropped in the Ukraine city of Donetsk that demands that all Jews over the age of 16 register as such and in addition list all of their property.

From YNET News: A leaflet distributed in Donetsk, Ukraine calling for all Jews over 16 years old to register as Jews marred the Jewish community's Passover festivities Monday (Passover eve), replacing them with feelings of concern.

The leaflet demanded the city's Jews supply a detailed list of all the property they own, or else have their citizenship revoked, face deportation and see their assets confiscated.

Donetsk, a Ukraine province with 4.3 million people - 10 percent of Ukraine's population - and 17,000 Jews, is home to much of the country's heavy industry, and is thus the biggest prize of the eastern regions where pro-Russian separatists have captured government buildings in the past week.

The leaflet, signed by Chairman of Donetsk's temporary government Denis Pushilin, was distributed to Jews near the Donetsk synagogue and later in other areas of the city where pro-Russians activists have declared Donetsk as an independent "people's republic", defying an ultimatum from Kiev to surrender.

The leaflet was written in Russian and had Russia's national symbol on it, as well as the Donetsk People's Republic insignia.

"Dear Ukraine citizens of Jewish nationality," the flyer began, "due to the fact that the leaders of the Jewish community of Ukraine supported Bendery Junta," a reference to Stepan Bandera, the leader of the Ukrainian nationalist movement which fought for Ukrainian independence at the end of World War II, "and oppose the pro-Slavic People's Republic of Donetsk, (the interim government) has decided that all citizens of Jewish descent, over 16 years of age and residing within the republic's territory are required to report to the Commissioner for Nationalities in the Donetsk Regional Administration building and register."

The leaflet detailed what type of documents the Jewish citizens would need to supply: "ID and passport are required to register your Jewish religion, religious documents of family members, as well as documents establishing the rights to all real estate property that belongs to you, including vehicles."

If the message was not made clear enough, the leaflet further stipulated the consequences that would come to those who failed to abide by the new demands: "Evasion of registration will result in citizenship revoke and you will be forced outside the country with a confiscation of property."

To add insult to injury, the leaflet demanded the Jews pay a registration fee of $50.  (Source

Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 and a hangar in Pakistan (or Iran)! (Video)

My theory still stands that Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 is in a hangar somewhere in Iran or Pakistan!

Some thoughts:
  • Malaysia is a predominantly Muslim country which in and of itself is not an indictment but an observation that may likely be relevant,
  • It would seem to any thinking man that a hijacked plane would either be flown into some target, land in some other country or be crashed immediately and not flown for hours only to run out of gas,
  • No debris of any kind has been found,
  • Two Iranians traveling with fake passports were coincidently on board,
  • The Malaysian government stonewalled and provided incomplete and in some cases incorrect information,
  • Malaysia is not unfriendly with Iran and has a warm relationship with Pakistan.
Let's get Zoolander for a full-scale interrogation of the Prime Minister of Malaysia!

At times some individuals or businesses may be tempted to try and appear to be something or someone that they are not!

Philosophical Question: South Korea ferry crew versus Nazi soldiers

Philosophical Question

I was having an argument on the following topic:

Was the crew of the South Korean ferry following the Captain's orders to abandon ship, knowing that it was 100% the wrong thing to do, any different than Nazis soldiers following the orders of their superiors to exterminate Jews?

Or, is this too extreme a comparison of right versus wrong?

Thoughts?
