Aka was the Obama apology to the American people about Obamacare simply insincerity, political expediency or crap?
And in reality, as is more likely the case, is Barack Obama really only sorry that he got caught in his own lie about Obamacare?
That, coupled with the Democrats who went to the 'secret meeting' at the White House earlier this week reading him the riot act about the effect his 'signature legislation' was going to have on the Party in the 2014 mid-term elections and that he needed to acknowledge the mistakes.
Either way we all have seen the statements many times in the past where a disgraced athlete or politician apologizes to his team or in the case of a politician his constituents for some indiscretion whether drugs, adultery, both of those or something else.
What they really mean is that they are sorry that they got caught.
And of course there's the old joke that asks how you know if a lawyer, or in this case a President, is lying? (Hint: Their lips are moving)
Barack Obama certainly fits this description when it comes to the fact that his promises and assertions to the American people about Obamacare have turned out to be lies.
Lies the President knew were lies when he made the statements to the American people about keeping your doctor and your health insurance over 25 times.
Barack Obama's staff must have worked days to get him to give a public apology, but it is too little too late for the American people who will ultimately be forced to live under socialized medicine which was the endgame of the President all along.
And the topper of course is the fact that Barack Obama's 'heartfelt' apology to the American people I am sure needed to be read off of a teleprompter.
I say I am sure because fortunately I was not home at the time of the speech so I was saved the trouble and aggravation of having to change the channel.
President Obama offered an apology Thursday to those Americans who have been told they're losing their health insurance plans, contrary to his promise that no one would be forced off a plan they wanted to keep.
"I am sorry that they are finding themselves in this situation based on assurances they got from me," the president said in a Thursday interview with NBC News.
At this point, Obama said, the administration is communicating with and accomodating those whose plans have been canceled. "We've got to work hard to make sure that they know we hear them and we are going to do everything we can to deal with folks who find themselves in a tough position as a consequence of this."
