On July 20th Michael Haltman of The Political Commentator will be riding 30 miles with the Rough Riders on the East-end of Long Island to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project.

The ride is in honor of Lance Corporal Jordan Haerter from Southampton who died saving 33 of his fellow marines.

Please donate whatever you are comfortable with so that those soldiers who have been seriously injured protecting our freedom are not forgotten!

Wounded Warrior Project...

- Helps to raise awareness and enlist the public's aid for the needs of injured service members.

- Helps to help injured service members aid and assist each other.

- Helps to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members.

Some will argue that the level of expenses at WWP are too high and that more of the monies collected should go directly towards helping the wounded warriors. Truth be told this is an argument that I cannot disagree with.

On the other hand the WWP does a great deal of good and those who benefit from it deserve only the best.

All told I hope that you can see fit to give whatever you are able as we approach July 4th, Independence Day!
