The Long Island Fight for Charity

The Political Commentator, Mike Haltman, will be entering the boxing ring later this year to raise money for the charities supported by the Long Island Fight for Charity (501c3, LIFFC)!
While most of you know me as the staunch supporter and defender of values that are not being supported by our current administration, today I seek your support to whatever extent you are able.
I am currently training to enter the boxing ring later this year in the Long Island Fight for Charity “Main Event’ in support of three extremely deserving charities!

Along with my training I am fundraising as well.
Charities supported by LIFFC
I am working out at a local Boxing Club with two 35-year boxing veterans who have trained Olympic fighters and with one of the two being the former Marine Corp boxing champion in the 140 lb. weight class.
The Glen Cove Boxing Club
At the 'Main Event', approximately 1,500 Long Island businesspeople are expected to attend for the 12 3-round bouts each pitting two Long Island businesspeople against each other who have been matched by age and weight.

I seek to raise a minimum of $20,000 understanding that this goal will primarily be attained through the contributions of many people donating whatever they can whether $10, $25, $100 or more.

Currently my total raised is $7,045!
I am also extremely aware that these are difficult economic times and that many individuals and family's cannot spare money for anything beyond the necessities of life.

However, if you find yourself in the position where you are able to donate, there are opportunities to do so in one of the many ways described below. If you have any friends or colleagues who you think might be interested in this cause, please forward this article on.

If you have any questions, please let me know! Thank you.
