Based on that I ask the following question:
During his confirmation hearing was Chuck Hagel's initial statement that Obama administration Iran policy is containment merely a slip of an ignorant tongue or was it the truth that was floating just below the surface in his subconscious based on the conversations he has had with President Obama over Middle East strategy?
I am afraid that given his past statements about Israel, the President's obvious feelings about Israel and past administration policies concerning the Middle East (i.e F-16's for the Muslim Brotherhood) the answer is painfully obvious!
