Video of the "paternalistic" President shielding his apparently defenseless U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. from the big, bad press criticism of her Benghazi statements!
On Wednesday I had written an article concerning President Obama's vitriolic defense of U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice this way:
"Introducing Susan Rice, President Obama's little sister!"
"To hear him speak about how she was getting bullied by some mean-old members of Congress over the ridiculous appearances and statements that she made regarding the massacre in Benghazi made it sound more like Obama was protecting his little sister than speaking about the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations."
Me thinks he doth protest too much!
I described it this way because if someone has risen to the position that Rice has (supposedly on the merits and not due to political patronage), and is included in the discussion as to who our next Secretary of State will be, she should be able to defend herself in much the same way that John Bolton was always required to do.
John Bolton you will remember was also the U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. and was constantly barraged by criticism from the Left. That fact is of course is neither here nor there because this double standard from the Left and the mainstream media is certainly nothing new.
The fact is that whatever Susan Rice knew or didn't know will most likely be discovered unless it is covered-up like so much else that goes on in the Obama administration.
The bigger point encased within the Obama outburst over Rice goes back to the age-old phrase that describes a psychological reaction typically based on some type of inner feelings of guilt:
