NCFF-OWW: Thanks to the American Warriors!

Yesterday I had the honor of meeting and listening to the mission of two men who help to run the Nassau County Firefighters Operation Wounded Warrior!

This organization raises money in order to provide some of the basic tools of everyday life, tools that we may take for granted, to the soldiers who have given so much protecting our American way of life.

On and around December 7, the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, members of Operation Wounded Warrior caravan from Long Island to distribute the supplies purchased with money raised through generous donations to soldiers at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, the hospital at US Army Post FT. Bragg and the military hospital at Camp Lejeune, NC.

Please visit the website of this incredible organization at Nassau County Firefighters Operation Wounded Warrior and give whatever you can to this great cause!
