Obama: Lucky General, Master of the Game or something else altogether?

This is the cover of the upcoming issue of Newsweek that poses a question about the Obama victory in the election this past Tuesday!

Was Barack Obama a "Lucky General" or was he the "Master of the Game"?

Well we know that he is not a general in the military sense if only by the way that he handled his duties as Commander-in-Chief by directly or indirectly causing the death of four American citizens in Benghazi, Libya.

And after that situation was bungled he not only seemingly lied about what he knew and when he knew it but hung his Secretary of State out to dry allowing her to take the blame for his incompetence. There is nothing in the President resembling a leader.

And unlike the military in the Obama administration there are no consequences for any actions or inactions and Hillary Clinton continues to go about her job in the same way that Eric Holder is doing after the "Fast and Furious" scandal has been ignored.

So instead of "Lucky General" is Barack Obama instead the master of some game? Only if the game in question is dirty politics. And the game would have been partially fixed by him possessing the winning piece in his back pocket in the form of the mainstream media.

So what is Barack Obama?

With all due respect to the Newsweek cover the President is not a lucky general but he is the somewhat competent captain of a team of merry men and women ideologues.

This was a group who was expert at moving any conversation away from the abysmal record of this administration and into the direction of pandering rhetoric directed at a portion of the American populace more interested in getting government "stuff" than in putting the country back on the right track.

The POTUS is also a master of the the game of partisan politics, divisive rhetoric and class warfare which he used to perfection along with the media hacks who were more than willing to be an important component of the Democrat team.

Finally he is the consumate manipulator who used the misery of millions during the disaster known as Hurricane Sandy to put on the airs of a concerned leader by spending an afternoon looking at the devastation in New Jersey before heading back onto the campaign trail.

And Sandy was obviously a more beneficial campaign opportunity than the time that he jetted off to a fundraiser in Las Vegas mere hours after the United States was attacked and its citizens killed in Benghazi!

By the way has anyone in the northeast heard from him since? Of course not because remember, the campaign is over!

Be prepared for an emergency with stored food and water for your home!
