Racist sneakers and Olympic athletes worth watching in London!

Can a sneaker design have racist overtones or is a sneaker just a sneaker?

And is it possible that the way an athlete who's participating in some 2nd-tier event at the London Olympics looks will be enough to bring in fans who otherwise couldn't care less about that particular sport?

An Adidas Oops!

As far as the question of a sneaker with a potentially racist design goes, it's hard to imagine how this particular style made its way up the creative and management ladder at Adidas without someone, anyone, stepping in to say it might not be such a great idea.

No worries because it seems that the marketplace has spoken as they were already pulled off of it.

Regarding the London Olympics

Are these athletes worth watching even if you could care less about their events?

I think so!
