Watcher's Council "It's a tie in the Wisconisin recall election" Edition

Did he or didn't he?
The Watcher's Council: Over 30 articles from some of the top conservative bloggers around the world and all in one easy to read location!
If it's Wednesday (and sometimes early Thursday) that can mean only one thing! That the time has come for the weekly collection of article nominations at the Watcher's Council to make themselves known!
This week’s Watcher's Council article offerings are dedicated to last nights Wisconsin recall vote that pitted incumbent Republican Scott Walker against Democrat Mayor of Milwaukee Tom Barrett.

This essence of this race was that in many ways it provided a window into the 2012 presidential election pitting organized labor and those who believe in free and uncontrolled spending by government against those who believe that fiscal controls and some shared sacrifice by all is the only true road towards budgetary health.

The controversy began on February 11, 2011 when Governor Walker called on public workers to pay a portion of the health and pension benefits that they receive (the same way most of the rest of the non-unionized workers in the country have to do) and to give up collective bargaining rights.

This was done by the Governor in an attempt to close a large budget shortfall in the state and hopefully avoid having to fire workers.

The move set-off a firestorm of protest resulting in the recall vote last night that many see as a preview to the way that the state, and possibly the nation, will vote in the presidential election in November.

And the winner, by a wide margin, is......How is this possible? It's a tie!

That's because the winners are Scott Walker AND the American people!
And now, the Watcher's Council

So now who and what is the Watcher's Council?
The Watcher's Council is a long-standing group of 15 conservative bloggers from around the world and winner of the 2011 Fabulous 50 Blog Award in the category of Best Conservative Blog-Ring.
Each week, first thing Wednesday morning, we the members of the Watcher's Council make known our two articles for public consumption; one of our own (Council) and one from somewhere around the blogosphere (Non-Council) that address issues we feel are particularly timely and important to present.
After a secret ballot among the members, Friday morning the winners in each category are announced and the grand prize, the appreciation of our peers, is awarded!
Watcher's Council home gamers are not only welcome but they are encouraged! Pick your favorite articles below and cast your vote in the comments section.
For the week of June 04, 2012 the Watcher's Council nominations are...
