Obamacare, a short story: 'I laughed and I cried'

The Hippocratic Oath (Source)
As the country sits on pins and needles for the SCOTUS decision on the individual mandate portion of the Obama healthcare bill, here's a short story of what may be in store!

That is, what may be in store for Americans and particularly elderly Americans, if Obamacare is allowed to be fully implemented.

Tale Of Two Doctors
Two patients limp into two different medical clinics with the same complaint.

Both have trouble walking and appear to require hip surgery.

The first patient is examined within the hour, is x-rayed the same day and has a time booked for surgery the following week.

It's not so simple for the second patient.

The second patient sees his family doctor after waiting 3 weeks for an appointment, then waits 8 weeks to see a specialist, then gets an
x-ray that isn't reviewed for another week and finally has his surgery scheduled for 6 months later. That is of course contingent on a review boards decision about whether, at his age, he has any remaining value to society that would warrant a decision allowing him to use scarce surgical resources.

Why the different treatment for the two patients?

The first patient is a golden retriever taken to a vet.

The second patient is a senior
citizen facing medical care under Obamacare...

The moral to the story?

In November if Obama and his Czars get another term we'll all have to find
 a good vet.
