Remembering Fukushima! (Video and links)

The Fukushima nuclear disaster, while out of sight and out of mind to most of us, is by no means over!

The world is dealing with a wide variety of issues right now including the financial, social and political crisis in Greece that is squarely on the front burner.

On this same burner is the condition of the U.S. economy, US unemployment, the upcoming U.S. presidential election, the economic condition of the rest of the EU, Syria, Iran, the rest of the Middle East, U.S.-Russia relations and of course the daily overhang of a potential terrorist attack!

Typically nowhere to be found, however, is news or commentary about the simmering nuclear complex in Fukushima, Japan.

This crisis that came out of an earthquake and tsunami is by no means either resolved or even really even under control and that may still pose a huge environmental and health risk to that country and any other country that shares an ocean with Japan, imports any food from Japan or is downwind from Japan!

While the Japanese government would like to whitewash the situation, here are some links to articles and video that will at the very least attempt to bring you up to speed on some of the events and conditions present there.

While I can't vouch for all of the sources nor do I necessarily agree with everything that they have to say, it is important to understand that most likely the nuclear crisis in Japan is far from over for any of us!

Fukushima today!

Said one source about Fukushima, "...and yet it remains at best a back page story for the establishment media which is more interested in celebrating Obama’s comments about so-called gay marriage than reporting about an event that may wipe out not only humanity but all life on planet Earth."
