Women's beach volleyball uniforms go PC at the London Olympics!

Political correctness reaches the London Olympics as women's beach volleyball uniforms are adapted to take cultural beliefs into account!

Who would you rather watch on TV?

"Under new rules adopted by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), players are free to wear shorts and sleeved tops. The governing body said the move was made out of respect for the cultural beliefs of some of the dozens of countries still in contention to qualify for the games..." (AP)

The current dress code has been in effect since the sport became a medal event in 1996 but it appears that times have changed.

Although social mores in general have moved to the more, not less, risque side, uniforms for this event now have the potential for a more conservative flair.

What I wonder is if a beach volleyball team from the Vatican somehow earned a spot in the London Olympics field and requested uniform leniency, would they have been accommodated as well?
