The Watcher's Council: Better late than never Happy Birthday First Lady edition!

The Watcher' Council is proud to present ... the nominations!

But before we start who and what is the Watcher's Council?

Digressing just a bit, the Watcher's Council was just selected as the winner of the 2011 Fabulous 50 Blog Award in the category of Best Conservative Blog-Ring.

Now for the explanation! The Watcher's Council is a long-standing group consisting of 15 conservative bloggers from around the world.

Each week, first thing Wednesday morning, we the members of the Watcher's Council make known our two articles for public consumption; one of our own (Council) and one from somewhere around the blogosphere (Non-Council) that address issues we feel are particularly timely and important to present.

After a secret ballot among the members, Friday morning the winners in each category are announced and the grand prize, the appreciation of our peers, is awarded! Stay tuned!

And for those out there who would like to wish the First Lady a belated happy birthday, donations to the Obama 2012 reelection fund are the price of admission.
