Egyptian Arab Spring? They are who we thought they were! (Video and vote results)

Update: Re the new morality police patrolling in Egypt: "These “morality police” groups are gaining steam, and for many Egyptians, especially women, the idea has them fearful that the country could quickly turn into an ultra-conservative Islamic state akin to Saudi Arabia and Iran..." (BNI)

Why is this womn smiling? Because "Egypt Islamists claim 62% (Freedom of Justice Party and the Al-Nur party) in latest voting" (AFP)

The voting is over and the Islamist "political" parties of the Muslim Brotherhood and the Salafists have claimed to have won over 62% of the vote.

If under Sharia Law the fat lady was allowed to sing in public, she would be crooning loud and strong in the streets of Cairo right about now!

Because what a majority in and out of US government knew was going to happen has now, for the most part, officially happened.

What President Obama lauded as a crying out of the Egyptian people for some type of democratic form of government was of course, dead wrong.

What the people of Egypt, Israel, the rest of the Middle East and countries around the world will soon be dealing with is an Islamist government based on the tenets of Sharia Law that will be friendly to no one beyond other like governments and cultures.

To quote NFL coach Dennis Green who can say it much better than mere words on a page;

"They are who we thought they were!"

If only President Obama and the others who called for the stepping down of Hosni Mubarak were as smart!
