Then why, according to reports, are they printing new bills right now? That's a very good question that, if true, could imply some very different potential scenarios.
One might be that Germany will indeed pull-out of the EU which would most likely result in global financial turmoil the likes of which have not been seen before.
The second could be that Germany will use a potential pull-out as leverage to become the grand poohbah of the EU, giving it the ability to call all of the shots without having to listen to country's like France.
