Obama explains away the stock market selloff (pictorial review)

In a speech Monday meant to calm the international stock markets (Dow -350 when it began), President Obama gave us the reasons for our weak economy and for why the United States should never have been downgraded by Standard and Poor's (Dow -634 at the close)!

It may be hard to believe but none of the reasons included Obama administration policies, massive spending or the incompetence of the President's economic team.

It is far less difficult to believe that nobody either bought or was inspired by the President's empty and insincere rhetoric or that the stock markets sold off into the close!
