Follow-up on the Obama war strategy in Afghanistan
In an article I wrote yesterday, "The real message being sent by Obama's Afghanistan decision," I talked about how political expediency and the 2012 presidential election played a major role in Obama's thought process for initiating the troop withdrawal.
Certainly not the proper methodology by which to prosecute a war!
Some of the feedback I received, to paraphrase, said that it was high time we were getting out.
My response to that is while that may or may not be true, we are there and we need to be extremely careful in the method and message sent by how it is we leave.
At this point in time pandering to a political base will only put American lives at risk!
