I never heard of Impulsive Flirtation Disorder (IFD) before, but in the Anthony Weiner story it makes some sense!
Think about it. No matter what celebrity or politician gets caught with their pants down the explanation will be something along the lines of a sexual addiction that a few weeks of therapy will take care of.
For Weiner the affliction is not so much sexual but flirtatious in nature, so IFD may come into play. The reality is that Weiner's indiscretion showed an incredible lack of judgement and a potential failing in terms of his marital vows, but come on, the man may be sick.
Now I have never been a fan of Weiner or of his politics but hey, the man may be sick.
The Real Deal America
There is a radio show in New York that streams live across the country where one of the host is a childhood friend of Weiner and this topic of Impulsive Flirtation Disorder will be discussed at length.
I may not agree with everything that they say on The Real Deal America, but today the glass houses of politicians on both sides of the aisle are going to get smashed and it will be very entertaining.
