The pastor of an insignificant parish by the name of the Dove World Outreach Center searches for relevancy and global attention!And he certainly got it! So is the endgame for Pastor Terry Jones of the Dove World Outreach Center to ultimately die for whatever cause it is that he is fighting?
Does he search for relevancy and seek to die a martyr for something that only he and his followers will understand? The congregation that is down to 30 or so members who must follow the Jones mandate which controls just about every aspect of their lives.
Brings to mind another Jones by the name of Jim who demanded the same control over his followers lives some 33 years ago. We know how that one turned out.
In any event the Pastor Terry Jones continues to push the envelope, has received over 300 death threats and rumor has it that Hezbollah has put a $2.4 MM bounty on his head.
All that being said and regardless of any outcome that befalls him, Terry Jones has every right to the free speech that the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States affords to him and everyone else!
No matter what Lindsey Graham and Harry Reid think, sanctioning or arresting Jones would not put an end to the irrational and deadly actions and reactions that are taking place as the result of Jones actions last week.
