Words that May Describe President Obama and his Administration On Foreign Policy and National Security Issues

When searching for synonyms to the word procrastinate, the title to this article appears. None of these words, however, are strong enough to describe the lack of any concerted effort on the part of the Obama administration to deal with what has the potential to be a world changing event; Iran attaining the ability to produce a nuclear weapon or enriched fuel for a nuclear weapon, and the capability to either use it themselves or to pass it along to a terrorist group.

Scenario 1: Naive

In one scenario, the words below that are synonyms for naive, describes the Obama administration and it's approach to foreign policy and dangerous and rogue regimes. It is the idea that negotiation with terrorists and fanatics whose mission is our destruction, or a slap on the wrist through sanctions, can somehow result in anything more than failure and lost time.

Not Your Typical Bastion Of Fair And Balanced Thinking, CNN Commentator Jack Cafferty Hits The Immigration Mark

CNN, your basic follow the leader, left leaning news organization, had relevant commentary given by Jack Cafferty in which he slammed President Obama and the Democrat Party for their stance on the Arizona immigration legislation.

Kudos Jack.

"Instead of simply closing the borders and enforcing the existing law so they could turn their attention to something like the national debt and the fact that this country is bankrupt, instead we're gonna get this freak show. Washington's position on illegal immigration is patently dishonest from the top down, no enforcement, no border security, just pandering to the hispanic voters and the corporations that hire the illegals and then when one of the states that being ravaged by the presence of 460k illegal aliens inside its borders does something about it, the President says that's misguided, what a shame"...

Obama treason trial to be held May 14-19 (video)

"Trial" To Be Held By The Controversial Pastor Of The ATLAH (All The Land Anointed Holy) World Missionary Church In Harlem

ATLAH is formerly known as the Bethelite Missionary Baptist Church, and it's chief pastor is James David Manning.

One of the tenets of the ATLAH World Missionary Church is opposition to the gentrification of Harlem, calling "for its residents to boycott its shops, restaurants, doctors, banks and churches. That action, combined with a general rent strike, would force all property owners out of Harlem, he said, leaving the neighborhood to its rightful inheritors: black people. Manning calls his plan "No Dew, Nor Rain," after Elijah's warning to Ahab, king of Israel, of a coming drought. "When there's no dew, no rain, there's a drought - there's all kinds of suffering," said Manning. The whole of Harlem, he said, is to be a "drought zone."

This mission statement serves as the backdrop for the planned "trial" being held in May.

In 2008 he called Oprah Winfrey the antichrist and the now President Obama the false messiah in a YouTube video.

In the video below, the Pastor lays out the facts as he believes them to be regarding the rise of Barack Hussein Obama through the CIA to where he sits as now President Obama. These facts, that he says he will elaborate on during the "treason trial" he is holding at his Church in May, make for provocative listening...

Presidential priorities skewed?

Vacationing in North Carolina

The President and the First Lady traveled to North Carolina this weekend for a vacation from Washington, ahead of today's politically motivated stop to eulogize the miners killed in the tragic West Virginia coal mine blast. Also present will be Vice President Biden. During this "working" trip, the President was able to fit in two rounds of golf.

Historical note: While President Bush was regularly derided for his playing of golf, President Obama has already played eight more rounds in a year and a half than George W Bush played in his entire presidency.

Problems With The President and Presidency

The following statement in a report from The Washington Post concerning this mini-vacation, pinpoints the main problem with this presidency, although that is certainly not the intent:

"...But at least for a day and a half, aside from a few briefings, the president's usual packed schedule of meetings, speeches, motorcades and public events was replaced with more relaxing activities..."

Speeches and motorcades and public events are the presidential tools of a megalomaniac, someone obsessed with being in the spotlight to the exclusion of focusing on the issues that form the basis of his true job description. That of protecting the United States and it's citizens from the dangers within and without...

The Ticking Time Bomb Know As The Iranian Nuclear Weapons Program Continues To Move Forward, While Irrelevant Sanctions Are Discussed With Our Allies, China and Russia, Who Do Not Even Want To Go So Far As Irrelevant!

The Obama administration continues to befuddle regular citizens of the United States over it's seeming lack of any interest in confronting the looming threat of an Iranian nuclear capability. It now appears not to be a question of if, but more a question of when the nuclear point of no return arrives. This in the face of reports that Iran will soon have an ICBM capable of reaching the continental United States and as Iran conducts war games in the Gulf.

One might almost question why a Commander-in-Chief, tasked with keeping America and her citizens safe, would be taking such a laissez faire approach to such a clear and present threat. Leaving that premise aside, Iran, one of the largest producers of crude oil, does not have the capability to refine that oil into gasoline. As a result, the only true sanction that would stand a chance of being effective, would be to reduce the ability of that country to access refined gas...

If This Case Wasn't So Dangerous, It Would Be Laughable

Three Navy SEALS, some of the most disciplined soldiers in the Armed Forces and tasked with some of the most dangerous missions, captured Ahmed Hashim Abed, the mastermind behind the ambush of Blackwater contractors in Fallujah.

Sometime after the capture, this terrorist who plotted a deadly attack, accused one of the SEALS, Matthew McCabe, of hitting him in the stomach. That SEAL will be going on trial in May for his crime of poking a murdering terrorist in the stomach. His two comrades, Adam Keefe and Julio Huertas, will be going on trial now for covering up the alleged "crime".

Forgetting for a second about whether this action actually took place, let's remember who it is that we are fighting and what it is that they want to do to all non-believers around the world. While no one would condone killing or hurting a capture for no reason, there needs to be reasonable rules of engagement with the enemy. Going on trial for allegedly hitting this guy in the stomach is absurd. Is the next step disciplinary action for looking at a detainee the wrong way?

Now let's look at the charge itself. Here we have a terrorist accusing these men of a fairly insignificant action, and on his word these men are out of action, facing a fight for their careers. Why would we take the word of a terrorist, whose training teaches him to make false accusations against their captures? Why are we allowing the enemy, on its say so, to pull our elite soldiers out of action?

This war on terror is difficult enough, without putting our soldiers between a rock and a hard place. Let warriors do what warriors have to do to get the job that they signed up for done. The ACLU and its proxies have no place anywhere near it.

Has fear of retribution created an environment in the United States whereby two sets of standards are developing based on religious orientation. Did the violent backlash over the depiction of the Prophet Muhammad by a Danish cartoonist foster a level of "political correctness" that may alter freedom of expression? This picture was taken after some newspapers had published the cartoon mentioned above. The story below, in Miami, happened this week. A hit to our First Amendment rights? You make the call.

Controversy Over Two Bus Ads: One Providing Answers To Questions Regarding Islam, and One Providing Answers To Questions For Those Wishing To Leave Islam

In 2008, the ad below ran for eight months on buses around Miami, designed to "educate Americans about a faith that has been villainized in the media." So said Dr. Sabeel Ahmed who had started this campaign in Chicago.

At the time Phyllis Berry, the spokeswoman for the Broward County Transportation Department, said this:

''It's freedom of expression, but my initial thought was it shouldn't be allowed. But it's about fairness, it's about the law and it's about what it's like to live in America. We don't always like the law, but it's there for a reason."

And this: "...we have a policy that does not allow anyone's religion to be demeaned and there is such a thing as the First Amendment, people still may not like it but they understand...''

This is an issue which has had a huge impact over time. "No taxation without representation" from the 1700's, the Boston Tea Party and today the Tea Party rally in Washington coinciding with "Tax Day".

Is The Tea Party Movement A Threat To Our Homeland Security?

Don't screw with my money is a phrase that has existed over time. During boom times there may be more of a pass given to a government constantly reaching into the pockets of the middle class for more and more. During these economic times, however, the tolerance for being asked to pay more, particularly to fund programs and deficit spending in areas that many disagree with, is toxic.

The main stream media likes to call the Tea Party participants radical activists, as if their agenda is akin to that of hate groups. Their actions merely represent the American right to peacefully dissent with policies that are detrimental to the health of the United States. Much like our ancestors did in the 1700's.

The examples of President Obama bowing down to world leaders has been well documented. One could have assumed that after bowing to the Emperor of Japan and the King of Saudi Arabia the President would have learned the lesson of: United States presidents bow to no one!

You would have thought that until yesterday at the Nuclear Security Summit when the President once again bowed, this time to Chinese President Hu Jintao. That wasn't the end of it though. Nuclear Security Summit opens to what can only be termed a weak agenda

The Nuclear Security Summit Opens Amid Extremely Tight Security

The police and army presence was felt as Washington was under extremely tight security with the summit getting under way this morning. Subway stations located nearby the Convention Center were closed, as were streets leading to the building. On the walk to the entrance there were limited protests in a park across the street from the convention center, humvees and troops on every corner along with barricades to prevent any unauthorized vehicles from getting near the building. Once inside, access to parts of the Convention Center were limited as well.

The primary goal of the Summit is to find agreement among the 46 nations present for ways to secure the weapons grade plutonium and enriched uranium that currently exists around the world. While this is a noble effort, these agreements among heads of state, were they do happen, do not insure much of anything. President Obama stated that he expects “some very specific commitments” from world leaders. These non-binding platitudes and political photo ops will go very little distance towards actually solving the stated problem...

Letter Purported To Have Been Written By An Executive of Procter & Gamble, Lou Pritchett


The following letter may or may not have actually been written by P&G executive Lou Pritchett back in May of 2009. Although Snopes.com says that he did, that is certainly no guarantee (http://www.snopes.com/politics/soapbox/youscareme.asp).

To be honest, in the politically correct world of today it is hard to imagine that any corporate executive would call out the Chief Executive of the United States.

That said, the point is that whether he did or didn't actually write this, the views and opinions will strike a cord with many Americans, and it is well worth the read.

AN OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT OBAMA

Dear President Obama:

You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike any of the others, you truly scare me.

You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you.

You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no visible signs of support.

You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth growing up in America and culturally you are not an American.

You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll.

You scare me because you have never had military experience, thus don't understand it at its core.

You scare me because you lack humility and 'class', always blaming others.

You scare me because for over half your life you have aligned yourself with radical extremists who hate America and you refuse to publicly denounce these radicals who wish to see America fail.

You scare me because you are a cheerleader for the 'blame America' crowd and deliver this message abroad.

You scare me because you want to change America to a European style country where the government sector dominates instead of the private sector.

You scare me because you want to replace our health care system with a government controlled one.

You scare me because you prefer 'wind mills' to responsibly capitalizing on our own vast oil, coal and shale reserves.

You scare me because you want to kill the American capitalist goose that lays the golden egg which provides the highest standard of living in the world.

You scare me because you have begun to use 'extortion' tactics against certain banks and corporations.

You scare me because your own political party shrinks from challenging you on your wild and irresponsible spending proposals.

You scare me because you will not openly listen to or even consider opposing points of view from intelligent people.

You scare me because you falsely believe that you are both omnipotent and omniscient.

You scare me because the media gives you a free pass on everything you do.

You scare me because you demonize and want to silence the Limbaugh's, Hannitys, O'Reillys and Becks who offer opposing, conservative points of view.

You scare me because you prefer controlling over governing.

Finally, you scare me because if you serve a second term I will probably not feel safe in writing a similar letter in 8 years.

On Tuesday,  the Senate health committee voted 12-11 in favor of a  two-page amendment  that would require all Members and their staffs to enroll in any new government-run health plan.

It took me less than a minute to sign up to require our congressmen and senators to drink at the same  trough!

Three cheers  for Congressman John Fleming of Louisiana!

Congressman  John Fleming ( Louisiana physician) has proposed an amendment that would  require congressmen and senators to take the same health care plan they  force on us (under proposed legislation they are  exempt).

Congressman  Fleming is encouraging people to go on his Website and Sign his petition  (very simple - just email).

Please urge  as many people as you can to do the same!

If Congress  forces this on the American people, the Congress should have to accept the  same level of health care for themselves and their families. To do otherwise is hypocrisy!

What Happens When A Politician Dies

While walking down the street one day a US senator is tragically hit by
a truck and dies.

His soul arrives in heaven and is met by St. Peter at the entrance.

"Welcome to heaven," says St. Peter. "Before you settle in, it seems
there is a problem. We seldom see a high official around these parts,
you see, so we're not sure what to do with you."

"No problem, just let me in," says the man.

"Well, I'd like to, but I have orders from higher up. What we'll do
is have you spend one day in hell and one in heaven. Then you
can choose where to spend eternity."

"Really, I've made up my mind. I want to be in heaven," says the
senator.

"I'm sorry, but we have our rules."

And with that, St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes
down, down, down to hell. The doors open and he finds himself
in the middle of a green golf course. In the distance is a clubhouse
and standing in front of it are all his friends and other politicians
who had worked with him.

Everyone is very happy and in evening dress. They run to greet him,
shake his hand, and reminisce about the good times they had while
getting rich at the expense of the people

They play a friendly game of golf and then dine on lobster, caviar
and champagne.

Also present is the devil, who really is a very friendly guy who
has a good time dancing and telling jokes. They are having such a
good time that before he realizes it, it is time to go

Everyone gives him a hearty farewell and waves while the elevator
rises...

The elevator goes up, up, up and the door reopens on heaven where St.
Peter is waiting for him.

"Now it's time to visit heaven."

So, 24 hours pass with the senator joining a group of contented souls
moving from cloud to cloud, playing the harp and singing. They have a
good time and, before he realizes it, the 24 hours have gone by and St.
Peter returns.

"Well, then, you've spent a day in hell and another in heaven. Now
choose your eternity."

The senator reflects for a minute, then he answers: "Well, I would
never have said it before, I mean heaven has been delightful, but
I think I would be better off in hell."

So St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down,
down to hell.

Now the doors of the elevator open and he's in the middle of a
barren land covered with waste and garbage.

He sees all his friends, dressed in rags, picking up the trash and
putting it in black bags as more trash falls from above.

The devil comes over to him and puts his arm around his shoulder.

"I don't understand," stammers the senator. "Yesterday I was here
and there was a golf course and clubhouse, and we ate lobster and
caviar, drank champagne, and danced and had a great time. Now
there's just a wasteland full of garbage and my friends look miserable.
What happened?"

The devil looks at him, smiles and says, "Yesterday we were campaigning.. .

Today you voted."
