Post Columbus Day "Get Out The Vote" review of the fight for Republican control of the House

Monday We Looked At The Fight For GOP Control Of The Senate. Today The Focus Is On The House.

With the mid-term elections coming up fast, it is critical for Republicans to get out and vote in order to attempt to take back control of both the House and the Senate. If outright control cannot be achieved, as big a dent as possible into the Democrat majority has to be made. Monday we looked at the Senate where wresting control from the Democrats if an iffy proposition.

The House on the other hand provides Republicans with a much greater opportunity as the numbers below, and at RealClearpolitics, indicate. In the House 218 seats are needed in order to hold a majority.

Given those races that are leaning Republican and likely Republican, the number could come out 211R and 185D with another 39 seats now considered a tossup. These leaning and tossup races below become that much more critical! Turn-out is what it will be all about.
