Jews, Obama and the question, why?

American Thinker via Vocal Minority Brings Me To The Article, "Why do Jews vote for their enemies?"

A very interesting question this one. I had asked this same question back around the time of thepresidential election, when it was clear given the nature of some of the Obama associations themainstream media chose to predominantly ignore, soon to be President Obama was no great friend of the Jews or of Israel. At the time, given the anti-Bush sentiment that was present in some quarters coupled with the liberal bias of the MSM, this pass was not unexpected.

The Jewish people in general typically vote Democrat and the majority are somewhat liberal leaning (not meant as a generalization). It therefore did not come as any great surprise that theJewish votes in the presidential election were overwhelmingly thrown Obama's way.

But what is it exactly that keeps the Jews supporting him now? Could it be that once a Democrat always a Democrat? Could it be in their minds, that realistically speaking there is no way they could have been so wrong en masse about Obama? Could it be possible that instead of being the anti-Bush change agent that he purported to be, he is actually as bad a President as he has turned out to be? Could people have been so wrong? Could that even remotely be possible?

Back in March when Netanyahu was dismissed at the the White House as if the consul general of some Third World country with no particular strategic interest to the U.S. I wrote, "Jews supporting Obama need to ask themselves a question: Why?"

At the time I said that, "...While American Jews, typically liberal, fell in love with the concept ofObama, it is time for them to wake up and realize what they should have realized all along. The President is no friend of Israel, and by extension the Jews in the United States, at a time when a strong ally in the United States is desperately needed..."

Well today at American Thinker, comes the article "Why do Jews vote for their enemies?" The article starts out as follows, but I strongly suggest reading it in full. In fact, I am going to send the link to my Rabbi.

"American blacks vote Obama for the color of his skin. American Leftists vote O because they hope he will shaft this country more royally than anybody else has so far.

So what excuse do the Jews have? The black and the radical leftist vote O for reasons I can understand. Obama is black, even if his life experience has no relationship to the average American black person -- none at all. And Obama is a radical, so even the radicals have a reason. However, why does Obama keep his favorable standing with American Jews? It makes no sense..."
