Mid-term Elections Are Around The Corner, So Do You Know How Your Member Of Congress Stacks Up On National Security Issues?

With national security a critical issue that faces the nation on a daily basis, is your senator, congressman or congresswoman concerned about the safety of the United States, or are they more concerned about their job security?

The Center for Security Policy did an analysis of the voting patterns for 8 critical national security, defense and foreign policy votes in the House and 12 votes in the Senate. It analyzed how each member voted, and whether, based on those votes, specific legislator's had the national security interests of the U.S. at heart.

Predictably the majority of those on these lists are Republican, although some Democrats are present as well. If your senator or congressman is up for election or re-election and not on these lists, that is a critical piece of information to take into the voting booth as the country faces enemies and dangers from both without and within.
