From RealClearPolitics, the chart at this link shows the U.S. Senate as it looks today, currently with a strong Democrat majority, and the prognostications for how it may look after the mid-term elections a few short weeks from now. These predictions range anywhere from a Republican pick-up of 5 seats to once again becoming the majority party, all predicated on a handful of races. The summary of those races is below.
Republican voters in the states labeled toss-up (California, Colorado, Illinois, Nevada, Washington and West Virginia) and leaning Republican (Kentucky, Missouri, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin) need to be particularly energized in helping to get out the vote.
