
War on Terror: Is the United States under the leadership of President Obama winning or losing?
Much has been written about and debated in the media concerning the prosecution of the war on terror by the Obama administration. While many American's did not agree with some of the policies of President Bush, such as the invasion of Iraq, there was no doubt regarding his steadfast commitment to preventing any terrorist attacks on the United States after the 9/11 attacks in 2001.
The United States continues to face both new and old security issues including al-Qaeda, Iranian nukes, North Korea, illegal immigration along the US Mexico border and now Russia spies such as Anna Chapman, the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico and Islamic extremism that is attempting to spread Sharia law within the US.
