
A report by the Wall Street Journal says that in order to bring Russia and China along on the road for sanctions against Iran, certain tough measures have been taken off of the board. Among those reported to have been removed from consideration are Iran's ability to tap international banking and credit market sources as well as access to international waterways and airspace.

The solution for the Iranian nuclear weapons program problem could therefore be multi-pronged without using the methods mentioned above. We already know that sitting at a table negotiating with terrorists won't work. At the same time multiple waves of sanctions have been tried and been proven totally ineffective. Force is not even an option at the present time. The permanent members of the U.N. Security Council plus Germany have disparate views and needs when it comes to Iran. The United States, so eager to form some type of coalition, sits by and does nothing.
