Tweet The Taliban Attack On Kabul, Afghanistan Is The Largest Since 2001
(Newsweek) “A group of Taliban entered Kabul this morning and attacked the Finance, Justice and Defense Ministries, the National Bank, the Presidential Palace and near the Serena Hotel,” said Zabiullah Mujahid, a Taliban spokesman reached by telephone."
Perhaps Martha Coakley, running against Scott Brown for Ted Kennedy's vacant Senate seat, should familiarize herself with the goings on in Afghanistan as well as the war on terror. In a recent debate she said with conviction that the Taliban and all terrorists had been pushed out of this country. She was wrong then, and she is certainly wrong now as the present attack shows.
In a body of government currently filled only with self-serving politicians, the last thing that the United States needs during these extremely dangerous times is one who is ignorant as well. For all of you in Masachusetts that will be going to the polls on Tuesday, consider very carefully not only domestic issues such as healthcare (although her position there is critical), but the more important issues of national security and homeland security.
Remember that at the end of the day, there is an enemy that wants the United States, and any other country that does not believe in what they believe, destroyed!
