Nixon: Manson Guilty

Is The Administration Trying To Lose This Case?

It certainly seems like it. Did Eric Holder and Barack Obama learn nothing from the Charles Manson trial and the statements made by President Nixon? Apparently not. As if it is not bad enough that AG Holder decided to try these terrorists in a civilian court as opposed to a military tribunal, both he and the President seem to have both failed Trial 101, and the more advanced How Not To Prejudice a Jury and Risk an Acquittal 315 in school.

Is the idea to do everything possible to get these 5 off, or to insure that they are put to death as they should be. How much more fuel can they possibly provide to a defense attorney than they already have? Wait and see.

(AP) "...In one of a series of TV interviews during his trip to Asia, Obama said those offended by the legal privileges given to Mohammed by virtue of getting a civilian trial rather than a military tribunal won't find it "offensive at all when he's convicted and when the death penalty is applied to him...

...Asked what might happen if the suspects are acquitted, Holder replied: "Failure is not an option. These are cases that have to be won. I don't expect that we will have a contrary result."

  2. Actually this is a new one. The President and his AG haven't tried to sabotage the conviction and execution of terrorists before.

They keep investing new ways to hurt the country they "love"

By the way, I know you are tired but you fell asleep, not feel asleep. I think you fell asleep during most of your elementary school education.

  5. Waste of time to respond to them Mike, they exist to get you to waste time on them.

As for the story, I've been thinking the whole idea is to put Bush on trial, and distract everyone from their increasing level of fail. If they walk, and these terrorists walk, it's fine by them. After all, it's Bush's fault anyway...right?

  6. I appreciate that, but I can't in good conscience let that level of ignorance go without responding, although I should.

  7. Greetings from the other side of NYS. I'm glad I found your blog! I'm a financial analyst who just left the residential mortgage industry. I cover economics, public finance and politics over at my blog at

I think Obama and Holder are absolutely out of their minds on this one and the left is hypocritical for backing the decision. I don't understand how the Obamabots believe a show trial is in some way more constitutional than military tribunals. Last time I checked, show trials were exactly what the constitution was trying to prevent.
