Sometimes You Just Need A Laugh
These are some stressful times for all of us. Between the economy, new spending plans coming out of Washington and various crisis on the foreign and national security fronts, sometimes you have to take a step back and use any opportunity to smile.
In these tough times business, and small business in particular, faced with lower revenues and the prospect of increasing costs for doing business coming down the road, have to be creative when attempting to drive new cash inflows and to get the most spending out of old customers.
Restaurants are certainly no exception. Some promotions work well such as the $5 Foot Long, and some prove to be very costly such as in March 2009 when Dominos put a code onto it's website for free pizza, and ended up giving away 11,000 before they realized the mistake that the promotion hadn't gone live yet. The code: Bailout.
Well, the owner of the Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise in the picture below is no exception. They are offering a very creative value proposition for the customers with some political relevance thrown into the mix.
